Guest guest
I would suggest the progesterone just taken post-peak. Is it possible she’s heading into menopause? Early peak days Dear List, I'd like your help with a client...age 43. Cycles have historically been 23-25 days with peak day falling between days 10-12. Now over past year, peak days have been more usually day 9-10, but at times has actually occurred by temp DURING menses (like day 3 or 4) with no fertile mucus ever seen, and a luteal phase which would seem to confirm this, as in cycles of 16 days or so. Also she is having several days of premenstrual spotting which hasn't responded to luteal phase topical progesterone. Her gynecologist is suggesting progesterone taken daily (orally as prometrium)throughout the entire cycle to attempt to get the cycle longer. I'm not sure how that would help. Thyroid ok. Any advice?
