Well, I can tell you how a betadine douche feels when you are allergic

to it. Early on in my allergy, I simply used what I had on hand, and

completely forgot or maybe didn't even think that betadine was

iodine.....It wasn't fun! Seems like I've learned everything the hard

way. Sigh.

Do you still have links to that info or other info? I need to do a lot

more reading on thyroiditis.

What are you taking for thyroid replacement now? I'm up to 56.25 mcg

T3, still hypo, but have to increase slowly so as not to crash my

adrenals again.

If I ever had a real thyroiditis attack I'm unaware of it I imagine

my other multiple symptoms and pain could have masked it? Or is an

attack so obvious you can't miss it? I did see mentin of " silent "

attacks. I am now having funny feelings in my throat, sort of a sore

throat, but not, if that makes any sense at all. Feels sort of swollen

close to the base of my neck, in front, and constricted, like it might

be hard to swallow (it isn't but feels like it ought to be). And my

throat looks swollen too. But that could just be the weight I have gained?
