Guest guest
I have had two kids now while hypothyroid. Both kids were conceived while my TSH was below 1.0 (.4 - 4.4 normal). My current doctor just told me if I am thinking about a third baby we need to drive my TSH down to the bottom of the " normal " range to keep me fertile. So, yes, I have been able to get pregnant while taking Synthroid. First pregnancy I was on the generic for Synthroid. The second pregnancy I was taking the generic for Synthroid plus Cytomel (T3). Experience has shown me that I do not get pregnant with higher TSH values that are still considered in the normal range. And, I also feel better with a lower TSH. Good Luck!
