I'm so happy that you chose to join our new EN Group! I see

you've already met , and are comparing your EN experience with

her. We have many member case histories on our Files under " Member

Medical Histoires " . I have added yours to it. If you wish to do a

search on previous discussions on " hormones " for example, just go to

Messages and do a search by typing in " hormones " . Up will come all

the messages with the word " hormones " in it.

I must say that until you mentioned the sweats, I had forgotten

one very awful bout I had with EN in 1978 or 1979 (it was the year

Elvis died). I was ill with a very strange bug. I had high fevers for

18 solid days. My sed rate was so high it pinned the meter. I was

weak and my EN flared up so badly my legs looked like red saussages.

After the fever broke, I had drenching night sweats for 3 solid

months. I eventually did get well, though. When the fever broke I

developed horrible wrist pain and dr. thought I had RA, but the pain

went away and never returned.

I think you may have a virus or some other bug going on and it

is my experience that whenever I have been sick with something the EN

also flares up. It is like it is always in my system and laying

dormant just waiting to emerge when I am weakened by something else.

We have also discussed bolstering immunity as a way to improve our

health. We have a good file on that topic you may wish to read on

our " Files " .

As you can see we have a lot of resources available on EN and

related illnesses and topics. And we have the most supportive group

of members I have ever met. I'm glad you jumped right in and started

posting. We are all here for each other.
