Guest guest Posted February 13, 2010 Report Share Posted February 13, 2010 Skin looks awful when it dies like that but as you say - it usually reveals lovely new pink underneath - I remember when I burned my finger with boiling sugar I used a thick slice of raw potato peel, no pain in under 5 minutes and kept it on for 24 hours - no sign of a burn after that - quite amazing.
