Guest guest
I am trying to find out what's a typical practice throughout school districts. For children who recieve ABA, are seperate goals usually written into the IEP or is it the norm to have programs that are not written into the IEP? I was told by one individual that ABA goals should be written into the IEP if the assessment specifies a deficiency in that area and there is not already a goal that covers it. Another individual stated that some districts do not write ABA goals, it's written on a seperate page indicating it as a methodology to work on goals set by the team. This leads me to the second question. I understand that ABA/DTT can be used to teach any skill. However, are there any districts or organizations who have guidelines established that determine when the child no longer would recieve DTT 1:1?
