If it is not too far from the surface, you could inject it with sodium

bicarbonate to raise pH of the tumor. It will then not be able to feed itself

and will begin to die. You will have to stay with it. Use a SB that has no

aluminum and distilled water. You should shoot for a pH of approximately 9 or

so for the solution. pH can be determined by using pH paper. You can buy that

in rolls at many health and organic stores. Eventually you will shrink the

tumor to where you can no longer find it with the syringe. When it gains in

size, you can again shrink it with the SB injections.

If your cat will eat cottage cheese then you can mix a tablespoon or two of

organic flaxseed oil with a half-cup of cottage cheese and give to her once or

twice a day. That alone might do in the tumor but accompanied by the SB

injections, it will likely rid her of the tumor.

I have a cat that was this week diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer).

She's only about three years old, sad to say; and we've had her just since

last August. Poor dear thing; she had a tough life before she was rescued

and then came to us.

She has a very large growth on the side of her back involving the two

floating ribs on one side. Amazingly, for the size of the thing, it has

not spread to organs or elsewhere (yet), and the only blood

chemistry/functional indication she has it (besides seeing the large

growth) is an elevated calcium level (there's sine calcification of at

least one of those ribs within the tumor.

I'm going to get her on LDN but don't have the Rx yet, and getting it will

be mid-week, perhaps late week at earliest. I'll be getting an herbal

preparation in the next day or two that I'll also be giving her (see: ES

Clear at www.petwellness.com).

I'm wondering if colloidal silver would do her any good, particularly in

the meantime. It couldn't hurt her, right? It might have a beneficial

effect on her immune system? Should I feed it to her in the dropper (and

how much) or actually put it on her externally?

And what about DMSO? Would it help to rub it into the tumor area -- which

is conveniently shaved of fur at the moment so the vet could aspirate some

tissue for analysis. BTW, I have DMSO in two forms: one is a 70% gel (with

30% distilled water) and one is in a roll-on bottle. Even the 70% one is

pretty potent: I find it burns my skin somewhat when I put it on my bare

skin. If I were to use that I'd have to dilute it somehow. Would it work

to mix it with something like mineral oil or coconut oil? And what might

one expect it to do to the tumor if anything?

In Googling the Budwig Protocol for animals I just came across something

someone who is on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD) -- as I am; I have

Crohn's disease -- wrote about it. She uses the SCD home-made yogurt,

dripped, instead of cottage cheese. I had already been wondering whether I

could use the dry-curd cottage cheese (known to us SCDers as DCCC, sold as

" Farmer's Cheese by the Friendship Co.) instead of regular cottage cheese.

That way, I wouldn't have to waste so much of it, since I can't eat

regular cottage cheese myself; nor does my husband. I'm going to assume

that alternative is ok, since according to this person's testimony, the

SCD yogurt also works, and the DCCC is closer to regular cottage cheese.

I'm about to go out and buy some, since I used it up for Easter dinner;

and some flaxseed oil.

The problem with osteosarcoma is that it is not a tumor. It is a mass of

cancerous bone cells. You can't simply inject into the mass. One also has to

be very careful to not break the skin on a bone mass as once the skin is

broken the mess is hard to maintain in an animal.

which claims the active ingredients in cottage cheese and Flax can be
