It is almost constant right now, more on my left side than my right. Sometimes Im thinking one thing, but saying another -- makes me sound pretty stupid at times. And when I walk into walls, that's pretty embarrassing. I also get this painful rash, although very small, on my fingers, usually right hand but now starting on my left as well. It's only there for a few days, maybe a week and then goes away. My doctor is giving me a month and then we may start searching for other things.

Of course, I always worry about things like MS also. It seems to have a lot of those same symptoms.

--------- Question

Could someone please tell me:

Have any of you ever had problems with numbness and tingling in your extremities? My labs are all normal right now, but this numbness is driving me crazy. I also have the trembling (like with the hyper) but the doctor seems to think it still may be thyroid related. I have to go back in approx. 4 wks for labwork and then another doctor's visit. Is it normal to have these symptoms and yet all labs are in normal range?

I live in Maine, there is no smoking in restaurants or bars here. Recently they passed a law banning smoking in cars with children as well.

Question

I am curious where everybody lives, and what their smoking laws are.I live in New Jersey and there is an indoor smoking ban. (I think there is an exception for Atlantic City casinos.)Thanks,Alana------------------------------------

Why does it take some posts so long to come through? I understand if maybe they are new, but some of the older members posts show up late too. When my inbox shows there are more emails and they do not show up with all the other recent posts I just click on unread. > > >> > > I read an article a very long time ago that makes more sense than> most> > things Ive been reading lately regarding the increase in asthma> prevalence.?> > It discussed the rising amounts of carbon dioxide in the environment> as a> > factor.?
