,

I will certainly pray for her. I wanted to let you know that my Granny had a mastectomy when she was about the same age and she did just fine. She sounds tough just like my Granny. You take care, honey and let us know how everything goes, OK?

Sincerely,

Christy in NC

Off Topic!! Prayer Request

Dear Group,A couple of years ago my Aunt n in Florida had to have alumpectomy for breast cancer. Now it has returned in the exact samespot and she is getting a mastectomy tomorrow. She is a wonderfulperson and always thinking of others. She is 84 years old and widowed3 times. She has a great attitude, and a strong support system offamily and friends. Still it never hurts to have an extra prayer. Anymembers so inclined please say a prayer for her to pull through thesurgery and to have a speedy recovery. Most of all I pray that hersurgeons are well rested and do a good job.Thanks.Love,

You can count me in on that prayer for your aunt and an 'AMEN' to the doctors and nurses being well rested and up to the task. I'll be thinking of her & you tomorrow and hope you get good news.

Dear Group,

Thank you all for your prayers and words of encouragement. I just got

a gold ring in the mail from my Aunt. Can you imgine a person faced

with cancer surgery taking the time to remember her niece before she

was admitted to the hospital?

I will keep everyone posted on how she does. I feel so much better

knowing that my support group is here for me. God bless you all.

Love,
