I suffered through that for about five or six years. EVERYTHING I

ate went right thru me and even had to be very careful about going

out to eat that it wouldn't be too far from home because I'd need to

be close to a bathroom within 20-30 minutes after a meal.

This was all during a time when my first marriage fell apart and I

was so stressed out all the time. After it was all over and I hooked

up with Terry, it went away by itself although there still are

certain things that still go right through me whereas they never had

before. In my case, it was mainly because of stress and now that my

stress is minimal, it doesn't happen much anymore.

When it was at it's worse, I would take a Valium and it would calm

down the spasming colon. I had read about that someplace and talked

to my doctor about it so he'd write me out a script for Valium and 30

of those would last me a few months. I don't like taking Valium

because they give me a headache for some reason so only took it when

I absolutely had to.
