[PROVE] TX ALERT - Calls needed to Stop HB 1316 Vaccine Mandates in Senate

Dear PROVE Texas Members,

Your calls are needed to your Texas State Senator AGAIN NOW to VOTE NO on HB

1316 which would mandate hepatitis A and pneumococcal vaccines for all babies

and children in daycare. HB 1316 was just placed on the intent calendar in the

Senate so that means it can be brought up any time between today and May 25th

for a vote by the full Senate. Please continue to call and voice your concerns.

You can lookup your Texas State Senator at

http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/fyi/fyi.htm and select district type – Senate.

Call their capitol office. Also, Lieutenant Governor Dewhurst's comment

line is where you can call and politely express your concerns

with this bill. Governor Rick 's comment line is .

To educate the Texas Senate about the reasons why HB 1316 is a bad bill, we have
