I always wonder, during flare ups, if it is possible for your lungs to

become "used to" a medication to the point where it doesn't work as

well anymore? I can spend many months well controlled on Asmanex and

never touch my inhaler, then one day my breathing just doesn't seem as

good anymore, I have to use my inhaler, I have to start prednisone,

etc. When this happens without a clear trigger (like a cold or

something) I always wonder if maybe the Asmanex isn't working as well

as before because maybe my lungs have become used to it. What do you

all think?
