Hi Dee! Dee, when it comes to treatment, you have to somewhat ignore

labs as far as them appearing " hyper " . It's your symptoms that

count, not numbers on paper. If numbers point to " hyper " , and your

symptoms do not, it's your symptoms that count. That may be hard to

get used to, but it's crucial. Before the TSH and labwork even

existed, folks were optimally treated on Armour by SYMPTOMS, not

labs. Lab numbers have actually set good treatment backwards, not

forwards, because docs pay way too much attention to them.

And, if you lower your Armour to add T4, you are also lowering the

calcitonin that you are getting in Armour. And remember that the

calcitonin is great for someone with osteoporosis.

Where your labs numbers ARE helpful is that they point to good

treatment on your current dose of Armour. In fact, there is a

possibility that you could use slightly more Armour, such as 1/4

grain or so.

SO, your symptoms point to another problem existing, not necessarily

a change in your meds. It's usually either adrenal issues or you

might need a higher Ferritin level. Also, have you ever had your

Epstein Barr Virus antibodies tested???

It just seems like you need to be looking at other issues going on

that you have not discovered yet, not necessarily changing your meds.

Hopefully, others here can give you ideas that I may not have. BUT

DO CHECK on that EBV, Dee. And the adrenals and the Ferritin.

My latest labs on 2 grains of Armour are:

> TSH 0.01

> ft3 428 (230-420)

> ft4 1.5 (0.8-1.8)

> ferritin 37 (10-232)

> I feel awful. Felt awful on 90 mg. Felt awful on 180 mg.
