Dear Ruby,

Welcome to our New Erythema Nodosum Support Group! I'm so happy

you have chosen to join us.

Ruby is now 33 and has had EN since she was 17 years old. She

has not been able to discover a " trigger " and so far nothing has

helped to make her EN go away.

On our " Files " , Ruby, you will find a folder of " Member Case

Histories " . I encourage you to look them over and see how you compare

with the rest of us. While everyone's EN is different, we do find

some similarities and that can be useful. When you get a chance,

please tell us your own EN experience including medications tried and

how you deal with it, and I will post it along with the others.

We also have lots of informative " Files " and " Links " . I like to

think of our site as " One stop Shopping for EN and Related

Conditions " . Our members have such other conditions as Sarcoidosis,

IBD, IBS, colitis, Crohn's Fibromyalgia, Allergies, PG, and the

Depression that often accompanies chronic conditions. No topic is

off limits here as long as members are treated with respect.

We also have a " Photo " section, and you are welcome to add some

photos of your own.

We just posted a " Poll " , to see if our members

experience " stress as a contributing factor in their EN flare-ups " .

Please go to " Polls " to " vote " . If you change your mind, you can

always change your answer until the poll is closed. It is an ongoing

poll and you can see how the group has voted. Also, it is totally

anonymous, so no one (including me) knows who voted or what their

answer was.

Since our group was formed two months ago, we have discussed

many EN related topics. You are welcome to read all our old messages

and feel free to reply to any of them. If you wish to start your own

discussion on something of interest to you, that is great.

To save you time, if you wish to find out what the group has

posted in the past on a particular issue, we have a " search " feature

in the " Messages " section. Just type in the topic and up will come

all the messages with that word in the text. (You probably can figure

all this out, but I like to mention it, as it is so cool).

I hope you will participate to the level that is comfortable for

you. We have a very friendly and helpful group here, and I'm glad you

jumped right in and started posting.
