Hi Sobyl,I've also used castor oil to resolve a baker's cyst and it works beautifully.  Just have the person massage the oil into the back of the knee.  Of course, they should also be doing the abdominal pack for other reasons but not necessarily for the cyst.

Thanks for your response. Was the castor oil pack done daily, and did you use heat? Did it completely resolve? I understand the miasm reference if there's  a pattern of cysts and other ways the body is holding onto toxins. Did you find a lymphatic connection, where something like Chelidoniumplex might be helpful? Also was the castor oil used both on the abdomen and on the cyst directly? Thanks up front for any details you can provide... Sincerely, Sobyl Bunis Chiropractor Santa Barbara, Cailf.

I had one that I used dry skin brushing and castor oil for. Usually there is an underlying injury/dysfunction that you must also identify to avoid a recurrence. Remember miasm as well.

A quick question; has anyone out there in Unda-land dealt with a Baker's Cyst using natural medicine? A patient's elderly Dad is coming to town and she asked if I had ever treated this condition (of course I know we don't treat conditions) but I thought I would throw out the question and see if anyone has been successful with treating it non-surgically....  many thanks, Sobyl Bunis Chiro in Santa Barbara, Calif....
