Guest guest Posted July 13, 2000 Report Share Posted July 13, 2000 Hello all, First my brag of the week (I think we should start doing this again!) is that my grandmother who does nothing but criticize me about my eating and my weight and my looks, said quietly to my grandfather, " doesn't Jenn look good? " I heard my name mentioned and heard exaclty what she said, but I asked her to repeat it louder so that I could really hear it, and she did! I was so excited to get a compliment from her! I know it is the taebo and my committment to staying fit which has made the difference. I still have a long " weigh " to go but a lot more people are noticing the success I have already made. As for the 3 mornings a week, I have only gotten in one morning, but this afternoon, instead of my normal workout, I helped my parents put 220 bails of hay into their barn. It used to be that I struggled to life one bail (approx 40-50lbs) but today, I was able to put carry one in each hand! I could not believe it! We did 330 last Thursday and the same was true! I have definitely gotten stronger since I have been a taebo regular. My cousin is training for a 5k and a half marathon for this summer, and he asked me to run with him! I think I am going to do it! I haven't ran in 10 years competitively (high school cross country team) and would love to do it again, so starting tomorrow I am going to start training for the 5k. Once I do that, I will decide if I will train for the 1/2 marathon. So on top of taebo, I'll be running 2 miles a day for the next week, 3 miles a day the following, and etc. until I am set for the 5k.
