Guest guest
I have requested an IEE by our district and have been given a list of LSSPs, MDs, PhDs, etc. and need recommendations from parents for an individual that is versed in AU spectrum disorders and can do full evaluations that could be presented to the ISD. My son was dx with Asperger's by a neuropsych but the district refused to recognize the dx even though he is such a classic kid with Asperger's. I'm in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and have to stay within a 100 mile radius. I know that I have seen mention of doctor's that you have been using but cannot recall the names. I need to make a decision pretty quick to get this eval completed before school next year. The individual must be able to do the evaluation per TEA criteria as the school district would do. HELP! Any suggestions? Please email me at amy.sosa@... as I am on No Email with the group at the time (swamped with work and email). Thank you, Amy Do what you can, for whom you can, with what you have, and where you are. ~Author Unknown~ Amy A. Sosa Child and Family Advocate 110 W.
