Guest guest
Hi all, This morning a poster in another group got me elsewhere on this site. I've been exploring this facility in TX that treats patients with " bioidentical hormones " (derived from diosgenin plant molecule found in the soybean). Anyway, they promote their own meds, so, of course, I'm suspicious, but anyway, this place and their docs sound interested. , I know you're from TX. Have you heard of this place or these docs? Two of the doctors were listed as top docs (looks like from " Inside Houston. " ) I don't know anything about them. Anyway, one of docs at this place believes that autoimmune thyroiditis and allergies are definitely linked. He also believes Armour is the drug of choice and did some kind of study. Here's a link about this doctor: http://www.hotzehealth-wellness.com/AboutUs/sheridan.pdf Here's a link to the study he did regarding Armour: http://www.hotzehealth- wellness.com/News & Events/DPSArmourThyroidStudy.htm Here's the page where they talk about " Our approach to health. " http://www.hotzehealth-wellness.com/about_us.htm Anyway, I thought this place sounded interesting. Sounds like health insurance will not pay for their services though. Go figure. It's like that place here in Louisville I found that sounded so great. When I called they said most insurance companies won't pay. I guess insurance companies believe accupuncture, massage therapy, and other " alternative " treatments are a bunch of malarkey.
