Guest guest
braintrainer Hi MGreen, When I referred to the manual, I actually meant the instructions that followed with the “Artifacting files for the tlc Bioexplorer Assessment”. I have the tutorial Pete is mentioning. It’s very good. The best learning for me was when I purchased the TLC designs for bioeplorer. I studied the signal diagrams, which gave me ideas of things to add into my own designs. There is a tutorial for BE available in the Software section on www.brain-trainer.com . I think what Jim is speaking of is the instructions for performing the assessment in BioExplorer, which are downloaded free with the TLC Assessment files. What do you have? Is there one available now or is it only in my dreams?? I want to be able to read and get the concepts and not be tied to the computer and the program. Just need to see what is where, how it works, etc. Where would such info be found? MGreen At 11:16 AM 8/5/2007, you wrote: Hallo, I'm from Norway too. I train NFB in Oslo. Usually I TLC assess with Biograph infinity, and train with Bioexplorer. I find it difficult to artifact with Bioexplorer. It seems you can't mark waveforms directly. You delete numeric values instead. I haven't actually tried yet… I just read the manual and was discouraged. I mailnly use the Othmers approach and has served us very well in my wifes Child and Adolesence psychiatric clinic. Work a lot with Tourette, Bipolar d.o, , ADHD etc…. and often serious cases mostly referred to us from Hospitals and GPs. I am interested in finding a good and reliable method to do assessments. tipped me about TLC , Thanks . I have studied the TLC files and it seems very reliable and comprehensive, yet simple to use. A severe case of depression needs an assessment. A 12 yo girl with a very serious depression, suicidal, masses of OCD. Cannot step on stones, because they can't breathe. Says sorry for everything. Heavily medicated (from elsewhere) with Lithium and three other substances. She really needs NF, but she is so unstable and I really need to find a safe and stable protocol to start with. I would like to do a TLC on her and send results for interpretation. Our standard approach of bipolar training at T3-T4 and optimizing frequency according to the clients comfort zone works wonders in most cases. Once in a while, the optimal frequency is not found in the first session , and can cause some initial discomfort. With this unstable girl I would like to avoid any discomfort. I have some newbie questions. I use Bioexplorer and Neuroamp. Any problems here? Can I start with a real assessment or do I need to do some training first? Assuming I send in for interpretation. Are there any Online work shops for interpreting the TLC? I can't send in for interpretation every time!? I will probably be torturing this group with newbie questions in the beginning J Have a nice day Erlend Erlend Solberg Office Private Bodil Solberg – BUP AS Box 195 4902 Tvedestrand Norway Solberg Gaard 4900 Tvedestrand Norway +47 95920006 +47 95920006 Child and Adolescence Psychiatric clinic Cognitive Therapy Neurofeedback center -- Van Deusen pvdtlcgmail http://www.brain-trainer.com 305/433-3160 The Learning Curve, Inc.
