Guest guest
I was told that mineral oil should be taken with caution as it can be easily injested into the lungs and cause pneumonia. I tried it but it did not help me. Its also very messy. I also was told it strips your body of nutrients and vitamins and you have to replace them. I was told this by a dr. and also someone in this group. I guess you have to try it all as to me its expermenting with different things until you get the right one. Kind of scarey to me as some of these things I never heard of but I do do research and even the research is not all safe and some of the information I can't understand as you have to be a chemist. Like MOM it saids do not take more than 1 week unless under drs supervision. Really whats out there that is safe? I can't take magnesium. It gives me stomach pain. Besides why would you take something and keep increasing it until you get diarrhea and then cut back and if it doesn't work when you cut back you increase it again and is this good to put your body thru. I tried lactulose and was told it would not affect my blood sugar but it did and I became so sick and had diarrhea and tried cutting it down and it really messed up my blood sugar as I am hypo. I went back on miralax as aloe vera made me so constipated it sent me to the ER with a bad impaction and I was taking it 2 times a day and was told to stop it. right now I'm cooling it and will start trying again. Even epsom salts did not help.Epsom salts has warnings on the box like don't take if you have kidney problems or are on a redtricted magnesium diet. i had kidney stones but tried it anyway as its been years since my kidney stones and it did nothing for me so you have to be careful with anything. Like i said who do you believe? I even tried triphalia with no results. Getting disgusted but still trying. marg
