Effects of nuvaring on cervix

Hello ProfessionalsI am currently learning about OCPs affects on the body through my Marquette instruction and pondered a question. Does anyone have an research on the NuvaRing and its effects upon the cells and structures of the cervix? I was pondering if the secretory cells of the cervix could be altered by the NuvaRing to a point that it could potentially cause decreased sensitivity to estrogen and progesterone during and after use. My train of thought is following from the effects of implantable uterine contraception. Any information will be greatly appreciated. ThanksNFPFLORIDARN
