Guest guest
Jane Try to get your husband involved. Show him reports on the internet. I like: www.immunesupport.com Explain the difference between chronic fatigue which usually has 1 cause like thyroid, stress, infection, etc . And the syndrome which is a multifactorial disease involving multiple viruses, bacterial infection and yeast infection which attack the endocrine, muscles, brain, and nervous system. It is a lot for one person to deal with. If you can find a doctor who deals with CFIDS take him to an appointment. Two sets of ears are better than l. The only way to survive is pacing. Do not overdue it, ever. Sometimes I do 5 minutes of gardening. Sometimes I can do 2 hours. Why the good days and the bad days has doctors and patients baffled. And, don¹t be intimidated by anyone when you need to lie down. From time to time my husband does get frustrated dealing with the disease but he knows that it is not something that I brought on myself. Most men like to think that they can ³fix² it and they can¹t fix this one. It hurts their ego I¹ve had lots of comments from friends and family: you just need a good nights sleep, how about a double espresso or just use positive thinking. Some comment I let go others I try to explain that the syndrome is different and not just fatigue. Oh, for a name chance....it would make our lives so much simpler. It is frustrating disease. Dumb name! No known cause. Some think that it has multiple causes. No diagnostic test. No cure. And a variety of treatments that may or may not work. Or maybe only work for a short time. Guess I¹ll go take a nap. Hang in there. We¹re here for you and understand. Lois
