Guest guest
I would like to know if any of you has experienced my same, weird symptom. I noticed that when I am either overmedicated or undermedicated (alas ALWAYS, I can't seem to find the right balance) I get this funny, very unpleasant feeling in my tummy that comes a few minutes before the heart palps start. It is as if I've been working out and strained my lower tummy muscles. It's something in between cramps and tension, very very unpleasant and sometimes very violent. After that my heart start racing and that sensation goes down to my thighs and up to my arms. Anybody? I've been for four days now on the synthetic combo of t3 and t4. I'm taking a very small dosage, the equivalent of about 15 mg of Armour just to give the time to my body to adjust to it. The brain fog has dissipated and I think I feel a bit more stronger even though it's hard to tell because I'm having a nasty flu that affected my stomach, with all the consequences of the flu - weakness, dizziness etc. Today I've started feeling that tummy tension again. I hope it's not because of the combo, I don't want to go back to no treatment, I was becoming stupid with brain fog. Do you think even if I experience heart palps I have to insist and eventually they'll go? And is there a way to detect whether they're from undermedications or the opposite? Can I also know what kind of suplements you're taking? At the moment I'm on natural tiroxine to help the thyroid on a combo of vitamine b and c and on some kelp that contains iodine. I've heard you mention that a multivitaminic is needed in order to feel better..do you think mine are enough? And do multivitaminics prevent you from losing weight? I'm sure I have another thousand of questions ready but my brain fog has not TOTALLY dissipated so I'll leave them for later... Sheila, a very long email is coming your way privately. I have a very delicate situation going on and I need some advice from you.. Merry Christmas to everybody Carla
Guest guest
Just guessing, but I'm thinking that that supplement you're taking called " tiroxine " actually has tyrosine in it, which is precursor to thyroid hormone. I am wondering about that, being as you're also on another thyroid med. Also, if you've been going on and off different thyroid treatments at close intervals, there can be a " shock " effect to your system from all the bouncing around. Of course, if you don't feel good on a med, then you shouldn't take it, but only if you're giving the med enough time to do the changes in your body it needs to. Have you had your heart checked out? If not, I would if possible. Tx Lots and lots of questions > I would like to know if any of you has experienced my same, weird > symptom.
