Chiari Malformation and Abdominal Surgery

I have Chiari malformation and s/p surgery 10 years ago. I also had a

syrinx. I am now going to have a possible hysterectomy for a fibroid

tumor. Has anyone ever heard that there is a danger in having abdominal

surgery if you have chiari malformation?

You should be fine. I had a total hysterectomy and did great . So dont

worry . And there is no danger .
