I have gotten so much from reading everyone's posts, I haven't had

the need to post very often...

I got my Hashi's Dx last June/July...have upped my dose

(levothyroxine) to .5mcg thre months ago...sufferering depression,

still no weight loss and all of the other crappy symptoms that are

related...as well as symptoms of peri-menopause and ADHD...I thought

I was going to have to commit myself to a mental hospital...I have

actually lost 5.5 lbs in the past month..I attributed the weight

loss to starting yoga practice.

Went to a new dr. with hopes of more aggressive

treatment...including T3/T4 combination etc if needed...she is on

board and full of information...

However, my TSH came back at 0.01...and I have been advised to take

the levo, every other day at the same dose, and recheck in 4 weeks

(better than the 12 weeks between with the other dr.).

Does this seem reasonable? Is it possible my labs were scewed

because I had taken my meds 4 hours prior to the test? Can Hashi's

go into remission? I was so pleased with my weight loss and feeling

somewhat normal over the past 2-3 weeks (only 2-3 weeks of the prior

12 between labs)I am dissapointed that I may not continue to

experience this.
