Guest guest
We are working on having all our donors sign a consent form for the recipient's insurance company. I think this is a great idea and hope we will be implementing it soon. Haggerty Transplant Financial Coordinator Renal Transplant Surgery Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston Donor ins payment and consent form to contact their insurance. Hello All, We are in discussion about the donor services here. # 1 - a recipient has recently informed me that her eghp will not pay for the donor's services and her donor's insurance stated they would. Per my co-worker it is illegal for the donor's insurance to pay when MC is involved (recipient is pre-emptive- will apply after transplant for MC). Is that true? #2 - we are in the process of devising a consent form for our donor's to sign-that basically states - if needed - we will ask your consent to contact your insurance company for the denial- to submit to the recipient's insurance company for payment. Our clinical coordinator is curious if any other transplant program have their donors sign a similar consent form? Thank you always for all your help. Guest guest
Before you get a zillion emails asking you to send them a copy of your consent form for the donor, I would like to ask if you could send it to the group, as an attachment? This way, whoever wants it can make a copy for themselves. Thanks! Donor ins payment and consent form to contact their insurance.
