Guest guest
For a UTI I have had great success with mangosteen juice. I use Thai-go from Nature's Sunshine. The naturopath recommend a full 8 oz. to start. When my daughter had a kidney infection she was put on Uva Ursi and echinacea. This also helps with a UTI. Lobelia helps with the pain. Also Juniper Berries.I think my UTIs are usually a herx and too much CS I think had caused it for me. I had one last week (I think maybe the result of starting LDN) and I did not have what I needed in the house so I used cranberry juice and a cap full of DMSO. We decided it was a kidney infection after he told me about it Monday, six days ago. Then went to Dr to confirm my suspicions with a UA on Tuesday. DX kidney infection, Dr prescribed Cipro but I asked for alternate antibiotic and got Bactrum DS. Have been taking that since Tuesday and is worse, not better. Has been drinking primarily water and Cranberry Juice ever since Tuesday. Have gotten him to take a few ounces of CS and one day took 5 cc DMSO orally that helped with the pain. He is now ready to try things my way, and was wondering if there were any thing you might take/eat/drink for a Kidney infection. suggestiona are greatly appreciated. Guest guest
DaddyBob is on this list, but is busy today, so I'm copying his post to another group about bladder infections: We've used this to stop my wife's UTI dead in its tracks, about 15 minutes Before going to the ER. Don't know about kidneys, but it has to go through Them first, so... 1 ounce CS, 1 ounce lemon-lime original type Gatorade, 1 drop DMSO, mixed Together, every 5 minutes until pain abates, then about every 15 minutes Until tired of urinating all the time, then about once an hour for several Hours, then about 4 times the next day. Anything after that, I honestly Don't know. After it's all over, clean out the kidneys by EATING apples (not juicing). Eat 2-4 on an empty stomach 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days. -------Original Message------- Hubby has been feeling bad 11 days.

Guest guest
Cat's whiskers (Orthosiphon aristata) works for kidneys. Here is the website for it: http://www.herbsarespecial.com.au/free-herb-information/cats-whiskers.html When i feel uncomfortable specially when i feel a uti or cystitis coming around, i immediately drink this tea together with CS and out the window it goes. Also drink lots of water after taking above. > > I second the recommendation for D-Mannose. > Please read what Dr. says about D-Mannose and UTI: > http://www.tahoma-clinic.com/mannose.shtml > We buy D-Mannose in the health food store in a product called Clear Tract. > http://www.cleartract.com/ > > Del > > Help with Stubborn kidney infection > > > > Hubby has been feeling bad 11 days. Guest guest
When using D-Manose, how long do you take it. I bought it, but it does not say on bottle. I have been taking colloidal silver and Cranactin with it. Thanks DM In a message dated 11/15/2009 1:40:39 A.M. Guest guest
DM, I take about 1/2 teaspoon in water daily for a few days with lots of water afterwards until I'm pretty sure the infection is gone. It always comes back because I have 2 boulders in my left kidney and they keep the infection going. I make my own colloidal silver (about 14 PPM of nano silver) and take about 5 or 6 ounces every few days and in between if I feel sniffles coming on. I am not sure but I think possibly D-Manose may be stronger than Cranactin (can someone with more knowledge respond to that)??? Ray Re: Help with Stubborn kidney infection Yes!!! Guest guest
Hi Ray, I haven't much knowledge about kidneys, but I survived some stones by taking Chanca Piedra, which supposedly breaks up stones. Also took a lot of organic apple juice and malic acid, which works for gall stones and I'm not sure what did it, but the stones became small enough to pass without agony. Be well, Léna > DM, > > I take about 1/2 teaspoon in water daily for a few days with lots > of water afterwards until I'm pretty sure the infection is gone.
