Guest guest
I was just diagnoised hashimoto’s in may. I was on coumadin and I just got all weird feeling heart palps and just felt miserable. So the new dtr I’m seeing ran more tests and BOTH antibody test and I came up positive. My anti-thyroglubulin (sp) was slightly elevated. I see Dr. sica and she still wanted me to take iodoral, but I’m taking low dose so I’m hoping it doesn’t mess with hashi’s. I know some can take it some can’t. Any stories will be helpful. I’ve only been taking it for a few weeks and 6.25 mgs of it. I’ve been diagnoised hypo since 2001, but I know my symptoms started at least back in ’96 if not earlier. My mom is finally being tested for hashimoto’s, my sister has it, my niece has it, my cousin on my dad’s side has it. I also suffered from blood clots in my left leg in 2005. I also suffer from high leptin levels. Which I did find an article that said blood clots and high leptins can basically go hand in hand. So that is me in a nutshell. Hope to learn more about hashi’s and what others have done to make their lives easier and to get the weight off. hugs Micki Health Eating and Living Together http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/he2gether_/ Reading The Inside Out Diet by Wong - want support join my group http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Insideoutdiet/ My brother's online store check it out http://mcgregorgifts.ecrater.com/
