Guest guest
Hey if you figure out the rhyme or reason behind progesterone and estrogen tests please let me know! My tests showed deficient in estro so my rx'ed natural creme.... I went quite crazy... I now manage my ups and downs with Wild Yam, Vitex and Dong Qui. I am only 30 but from age 25-27 I didn't have a period and experienced all the symptoms but didn't get positive labs for menopause. I have PCOS but due to my food allergies I can't go low carb... there really all I can eat except for dairy. I thought the whole point ofthe Progesterone test was to show if you are deficient. So why is theref. range "<1.4" during the follicular phase????? It would even a"0" would be in the normal range... and that I'm progesterone dominant!!Perplexed,
Guest guest
Hi, Sheila!! Thanks so much... this article talks about the normal values during the luteal phase of a cycle though (I think that's after mid-cycle) -- I took my test during the follicular phase -- while I was on my period and that's what's so confusing to me -- I thought that's when you were *supposed* to be tested! Argh! Wanting a refund. :-) I missed ya, lady -- will be trying to catch up here and there on the list and hope you're doing OK!!! > Hey gang, I just realized something...
