had told you I was having difficulty finding an appartment building where I

could keep my three cats... well, I solved the problem, because I bought a

house!!

It wasn't supposed to be that way, but I realized that it was financially more

reasonnable to buy a house than rent an appartment (mortgage payments = rent).

I think I made a good deal, but there are a lot of renovations to do (kitchen,

bathrooms, windows, heating system, roof...), but the house has a lot of

potential. It is extremely well situated, in front of a park and a bike path.

I have no clue what has been going on here, so I have to catch up on emails...

Hello all! I just came back from my little trip to Montreal to

find an appartment.As I had told you I was having difficulty finding an

appartment building where I could keep my three cats... well, I solved the

It's not exactly on the island of Montreal. On the island the houses were way too expensive for me. By car, it should take me about 15 minutes to get to work (by bus about an hour). However, I'm considereing this as a "transition" house, for about 5-6 years.

your own place! It sounds like it's in a great location! And you

will really be able to make it your own as you renovate and
