That's absolutely great news, I hope everything goes well (having no idea

what house buying means in Canada, but it can be a bit of a nightmare over

here!)

Jill

That's exactly the same reasoning that I bought my house and I haven't

regretted one little bit.

Janick, Congrats!!! I am so happy for you! How exciting! Don't look at home

improvement projects as chores....these tasks really can be quite fun. Put your

thinking cap on and get creative!!!

Yippee for you, your fiancee, baby and kitties!

It wasn't supposed to be that way, but I realized that it was financially more

I think I made a good deal, but there are a lot of renovations to do (kitchen,

bathrooms, windows, heating system, roof...), but the house has a lot of

I have no clue what has been going on here, so I have to catch up on emails...

See ya later!

who is happy but a little scared too...

as a matter of fact I have chosen my Tae-bo space... in the basement, where the "family-room-play-room-guest-room" will be! LOL

It's not exactly on the island of Montreal. On the island the houses were way too expensive for me. By car, it should take me about 15 minutes to get to work (by bus about an hour). However, I'm considereing this as a "transition" house, for about 5-6 years.

Janick,Congratulations on the new house. Sounds like a great location (both the park & the fact that it's in Montreal)Genie

Janick,

I am so glad that you found a place to live, even if it meant buying

your own place! It sounds like it's in a great location! And you

will really be able to make it your own as you renovate and

decorate :)
