Copper Handholds vs Stainless

Only $200 for a couple stainless steel handholds! Why even ask us,

grab 'em.

What a rip.

For those of you that want to save a bundle get the flexible

stainless steel water lines that are used under sinks (at hardware

stores. Available in different diameters. Copper corrodes too

easily and will constantly need cleaning to conduct properly when

you use saltwater.

Bruce Stenulson (EM+) uses this for some of his zappers (not sure

if he recommends saltwater).

Saturday, December 28, 2002, 9:25:42 PM, you wote:

PL> I want to say thanks in advance for taking your valuable time to help get me

up and running with a poor-man's rife generator by answering my ignorant

questions.

PL> Will copper handholds with the saltwater soaked paper towels work as well as

stainless steel for a pad device or is it advisable to buy stainless handholds?

If I do need to buy the stainless does

PL> anyone know of a good source? Don Tunney sells them for $200. Seems kinda

pricey, but then again, what do I know?

PL> Also, I'm assuming more is better when it comes to the frequency range of a

generator. Is there an accepted minimum for pad devices (i.e. at least 1 Mhz)? I

thought I read somewhere that it takes

PL> at least 1 Mhz to penetrate a cell. Could be mistaken though. I do see that

Don Tunney sells a frequency generator which he markets as a pad device that

only goes up to 1Mhz.

PL> At this point I think I'm going to purchase the BK 4017 unless any of you

knowledgeable folks think that getting a 20 Mhz (BK 4040) vs 10 Mhz is pretty

important cause I don't have a lot to spend

PL> on a generator and the 4040 is $140 more.

PL> Thanks again,

PL> Ladendorf

Some people feel that the electrolysis effect (albeit mild) that occurs with

electrodes would counterindicate using stainless steel due to the content of

undesirable metals such as nickel.

Does anyone have input on this?
