Guest guest
Hi, I joined this group a while back. I mostly just read stuff from other posters...anyway I do have asthma and have had it since I was 14yrs old, I'm now 39yrs. Last summer I had finally had it with the conventional drugs and the doctors prescriptions etc. I was very fustrated and sick of having asthma and allergies like many of you. So I've decided to do something about it. I'm changing my eating habits to healthy and eat lots of fruits and veggies. I also am taking a multi vitamin and a few other supplements one of them being grape seed extract..not grapefruit seed. I'm doing ok. I'm only using my proventil and asmanex every other day and I quit my allergy pill all together because it wasn't doing me any help anyway. I've been doing alot of research on asthma and am going to continue to go this route til I find that something that will help me all the way, naturally. I got this book called Prescription for Nutritional Healing by Phyllis A. Balch from the library. In it she tells what supplements are good for asthma, allergies and all kinds of other ailments. I believe we all are lacking some kind of vitamin in our bodies. I'm going to keep trying different things til I find what will help and work. I also did a total body cleanse and that helped also because I notice a difference there also, I'm going to do another one soon. A lot of the ailments that people have are gut related. So I guess what I'm saying is don't let the asthma life get the best of you and don't give up on finding something that may make your asthma better and maybe you won't have to visit ER so much. And I refuse to let the doctors and asthma control my life!! Good luck everyone and stay healthy. Genevive
