Guest guest
If you are a Medicare approved facility for the organ in question, I do not know of any reasons why they would not pick up the rest of the bill being secondary. Guest guest
Yes-- I too wonder about MC payment (2ndry) and pt responsibility? My pt has EGHP that we are out of network and the EGHP will only pay $250 per day. So this would be the same -- after MC adjustment and MC payment - the pt responsibility would be MC IP ded only? Thank you, McIver Summa Health System Renal Financial Counselor Akron, OH (330)375-4924 mc 2ndary HI- I have a patient with private insurance primary and medicare 2ndary. Guest guest
Medicare will only pay if the EGHP did not pay up to the DRG amount. If they pay more than the DRG amount, Medicare will not pay. L. Woodward, BSM, TFC Renal Transplant Financial Coordinator University Hospital of Arkansas FAX From: NCollado@...
