Ahhhhhhhhhh, So where do we get this " Recipe Book " for

professionals?

I need something that I can read and absorb away from the

office/computer. A so called " Recipe book " would be ideal.

WHERE is it?

Margaret,

Thanks for the comments. I too started looking for a

list of protocols. Spent a long time with a series of

" success " that faded away all to quickly. I attributed

this to my not having a full TLC (or similar) analysis beforehand as

protocols started to " keep " much more afterwards. That

was part of my reason to do the program so that I could quickly do a TLC

much more often, just to see what changed, if anything.

The " program " got developed as a website just

cause it's flexible and fairly straightforward to program. I'm

making it available to others as a personal " motivation " to

improve it.

So far this is only, and exclusively, the

" front-end " of the TLC process. That is, doing the

TLC. Pete's website supplies it all free. I'm just making the

" extras " available (soon, I hope) for the series

tasks that a second person would normally accomplish, like reading a

series of numbers for the digit span exercises, etc. This way

individual home users (usually newbies), or those that have trouble with

" step by step " sequencing can have a better shot of doing the

TLC consistently and accurately.

If someone doesn't start out knowing how to interpret the

TLC, Pete's training and available protocols are available for the next

steps. He will even process the TLC and custom design protocols for

it so there is no need for anyone to wait while they climb that steep

" knowing what to do " learning curve. For

" professionals " a " recipe book " is already available

with Pete's protocols. There is quite a stew! One just needs

to take Pete's personal training to feel more comfortable selecting and

adapting them to the individual.

Without the full background of the training the responses do

seem " academic " . When I want my car to get fixed I don't

spend several years getting myself certified for auto repair. I go

the guy who already did that. I say it makes funny noises when

this-or-that happens. He does the analysis and tells me he can fix

it. Pete is the TLC mechanic.

Again, doing the TLC properly is the trick. Pete will

take it from there for a very reasonable fee for home users or those just

starting out.

I updated my site a little while ago. Shifted things

around and made the buttons bigger (especially for laptop users).

No Task functionality yet. But I think I've got the basic interface

set so I can work on that part next. Except the Fp1/Fp2 sites added

recently.

TLC instruction on website

Hi folks,

While taking a class last spring I got Pete's permission

to put a version of the instructions for doing the TLC out on my

website. So far button clicks will display the text of the

instructions (by step) and a rough picture of the sites. The

" hard part " isn't implemented yet, which is to have audio/video

clips of the tests for the different areas. I was wondering if

anyone would mind looking at and giving their opinion on the layout and

visual presentation of the site as it currently is? It won't be up

as is, or in that location, very long. Thanks!

The "Recipe Book" is in .bxd format. IMO every .bxd protocol is a chapter. Study it, learn it. You can print it to walk around with if you care to.

Go to: http://www.brain-trainer.com/tlc_store/

Under "How To Order" in the middle of the page click the "order form" button. Save and Open the worksheet. Order: BioExplorer Design Subscription $120.

For each design YOU still need to "connect the dots" to the symptom sheet and TLC. But again, Pete's classes explain how to do this. If you find "connecting the dots" difficult, or impossible, then take a smaller bite of the elephant. Just ...

Order an appropriate ABCD plan from: http://www.brain-trainer.com/cgi-bin/shop.pl?shop=get_item & item_id=37 Then, figure out how this short list of protocols are related to your individual TLC and symptom list. Then you can get to understand just a few specific designs based upon specific symptoms and TLC.

You may later want to expand your knowledge out to understand and "generalize" the concepts behind the full Design Subscription. At that point IMHO I think you can consider yourself a "professional" in respect to the TLC process.

Sort of like "make a pie with Mom's help", then "learn how to make several different types of pies from reading books".

Hope this helps. This is my opinion only, YMMV. There are perhaps other ways to achieve this same result you can explore. Good luck with your reading, learning and training! Have a great day!
