Guest guest
"Pneumococcal vaccination does not appear to be effective in preventing pneumonia, even in populations for whom the vaccine is currently recommended." Alana, Id agree with this whole heartedly. I worked in a nursing home and we had just about all of our residents in our wing vaccinated against pnuemonia. We had 6 or 7 of our older residents pass away from pnuemonia despite being vaccinated. It really makes you wonder if the vaccine is worth it. For what its worth, I dont get either the flu shot or the pnuemonia vaccine. I might benefit from the pnuemonia vaccine in that my bronchitis might get less severe when I do get it, but I guess I just never give it thought when its time to get the thing.Listen to 350+ music, sports, news radio stations FREE while you browse.Start Listening Now!
