With all you have been through and are going through it is very normal to be

depressed. The depression can be helped. Please consider it. You don't

deserve to feel this bad.

Elena, who was fortunate (and brave enough) to get therapy and

medication for her depression when she was bedridden for a year in her

mid 20s after injuring her back.

Actually, the depression has gotten itself under control lately...either that

or I have been ignoring it. I have been going to a counselor off and on, but

he is not helping at all...he makes me uncomfortable...

Now this is a little off topic...I have a wonderful man that I have been

seeing that is helping me work through some issues, and he is GREAT for my

self esteem...can I brag for a second? I hope noone minds if I go really

really off topic right now...

He and I were talking the other night, and I was complaining about not being

able to lose weight and that I thought that I was really unattractive and

fat...so he asked me what I thought was fat and unattractive about me...so I

told him, well first of all...my butt...and he went on to tell me that every

time that I walk in front of him when we are going to work, all he can stare

at is my butt...for some reason he thinks that I have just a really cute butt

(I think that it is HUGE)...and he and I went on like this for about 6 hours,

just talking about stuff...I have finally found a MAN...you know what I am

talking about...he is not a GUY...guys stare at your breasts when you are

talking to them, and they carry on conversations with them (esp when you are

like me, and have a rather large chest)...he is mature, down to earth, fun to

talk to, and most of all, he has accepted me for who and what I am...which

makes me want to cry, as I know that he and I can never go beyond

dating....Don't ask me how I know...I just do...but he is a great man, and a

great friend...

Sory to go on so darn long....just had to tell someone, and I consider you

all some of my best friends! Thanks for all of your support.

Hi ,

It's me again. I think that's great about the MAN you are seeing. You should

go on and on about him all you want. And talk to yourself about him, and

about the good things that are going on in your life - like going to see

your little boy, etc. I bet you have a number of other things that are going

on with you that are really positive. I would suggest to you that you fill

your thoughts with these things. Let them overshadow the negative things you

see in your life. Thanks for sharing with us. It's great!

, I'm sorry that you didn't get the information you needed

about your need. Maybe this is one of those cases where " no news is

good news " in a way because they appear to have ruled out cancer. I

am so happy for you about going to Chicago. Enjoy every minute of it.

Oh, ,

I hate that waiting game!! {{{Hugs}}}

I'm so glad to hear that you will be able to see your little boy soon,

that will be something you can think about to help you get through all

of this horrible waiting. Just clear your mind when you start getting

really stressed and think about seeing your adorable little boy!!

(By the way, the man you're seeing sounds wonderful!! My dh is the same

way, understands about the stuff women go through after having a child,

and still thinks my body is the sexiest one around, heck he thought it

was sexy when I was pg and really huge!! What a wonderful boost to the

ego!! Accept the compliments and reassurance in the spirit that they

are given!!)

Regards,

K in Texas

I will probabaly go on and on about him...he is truly great...there are a few

good things happening, but not many and it is becoming harder to focus on

that now...
