Guest guest
Nice photos Shyam. Dr. Jain is looking the same, as is Dr. Naik. Is there some magic in the waters of Sevagram? Kishore Shah 1974

Guest guest
The photos have been a real treat - it makes me feel that I was almost there !! As far as my batchmates : notwithstanding the receding hairlines and/ or graying (guys) and added pounds ( prosperity) and the girls have not changed as much other than becoming proud moms + successful careerwomen - the photos transported me back to our college years...I felt as if I was back in college - started remembering everybody's personalities...it is unreal that it just did not feel like we were in 2008 and not kids any more !! As far as the faculty pics - some still made me shudder ;-) (just kidding ) while some brought back sweet memories of their exemplary teaching and student friendly personalities !! To this day when I palpate a liver or spleen or hear a murmur I am transported back to my clinic days and demanding teachers and I am so thankful for that ! The souvenir - I have no words to describe - how unique and exquisite it is !! Even if I tell her a success story or our kids do something fantastic...Renuka never gets so excited...and her response makes us feel that we did not do such a great job... And to see Renuka so excited, impressed and using so many superlatives about the reunion...I can see what a blast you all had !! Brajpal Tyagi, Fateh Singh, Prashant Fulzele, Sanjeev Sharma, Surekha Bhaskar, Aradhana Gupta, Prasad Deshmukh, OP Sharma ( except the missing moustache ) Vijayshree Deotale, Madhavi Deb Burman have not changed one bit.....amazing....I wonder how is it possible ? For the rest of us ... hey its just prosperity ! Hopefully... the rest of the yahoo group is not bored with how we are raving and ranting about our reunion !! In fact I am thinking the junior batches probably can't wait to have their reunions...and the senior batches are planning their 50th anniversary reunion...how cute will that be ;-) May God bless us all !! There was no T.V. or internet in those days. So we used to go to mess hall and play T.T. Mahendele ( gamaya ) of our batch was the hero of the college, being undisputed king of T.T of the state. He was so cool and calm while playing, the opponent was ratteled on seeing his calmness. I had fun playing with Jitender ( Jeeto, who is well setteled at Kullu), he used to smash the TT ball. Shinde ( bruce lee of our batch, who is now in AIIMs) was another fellow who used to enjoy T.T. He was always whisteling while playing. Kiran Swaroop used to come to play when ever he was in mood, he used to praise my shots. Rajiv Tandon was heavy in those days also. He used to curse if the ball didn't come to him directly. I wonder if the T.T. is still popular. Tejinder Sandhu 76 ------------ --------- --------- --- Add more friends to your messenger and enjoy! Invite them now.
