Guest guest
I would think that the more probably reason was a change in positioning during the MRI, or a difference in how the individuals read the MRI. If you look at a ruler, even a difference of 5mm isn't all that much. The down side of 5mm, is that it puts you, almost automatically, into the group of Chiarians that many Drs don't believe need help. That is " not good " , Sally R... Guest guest
Sally: If the herniation is " too small " does that mean the TCI doctors feel the same? I have no idea the size of mine and I was wondering due to your respones. Wendi in PA TCI consult 10/29/
Guest guest
I received the MRI radiology report in the mail. It clearly states my herniation is 10mm. Why the doctor said it was 5mm or possibly smaller is beyond me. I am totally confused now. He had the report before he saw me and my husband. I have to see a MS specialist this week since they found lesions that were not there before. I am not sure what to think about this since I have gone the MS route several times in the past 1 1/2 years and all the doctors say I don't have MS. www.lvwnet.com > > Is it possible for herniations to shrink?
