Great way to preserve your garlic before it dries out. Hi, Zoe: Thanks for the great suggestion to store garlic cloves in Apple Cider Vinegar. Question please: I am assuming you peel the cloves before storing them in the ACV, or can I be lazy and drop the whole unpeeled clove in or better still, the whole unpeeled bulb? Guest guest
I eat a lot of garlic. I can do 3 or 4 cloves easily, finely chopped and put on a hot baked potato with coconut oil, a sprinkle of sea salt. YUM! I follow that up with strong ginger tea. I'm good to go : ) Nikki Harvey Metzler wrote: > > > There have been patients who have worked up to 40 to 50 cloves a day > spread out over several ingestions. > > Felt great. Guest guest
Have heard that a garlic barn where it is hung upside down to cure never has any bugs. What is ACV? Re: UTI protocol Raw Garlic is one of the strongest broad- spectrum anti-biotics known to man. It is effective on MRSA's and the way it works does not allow the bacteria to build up an immunity against it. It does work systemically. I have personally used it for all manner of infections including the occasional UTI without the yeast flakes and the raw egg. Just chop the garlic and swallow with some liquid. You do not want to chew it since it is very HOT and will burn tender tissues. Just chop and swallow. One a day is great for prevention.. for existing infections 3-5 per day for several days will do the job. Rinse with lemon water if you are concerned about the odor.zoeG Simpkins wrote: Garnet, This is not a DMSO post, but I recall reading of some on this list having UTI, so I sent it along for your appraisal. Was mixed and used daily until symptoms vanished. Have failed to be able to contact the person who wrote this, so I am sorry to say I do not have more details. I cannot see that trying this could harm anyone though. I have to say that if I had UTI, I would try it a few times. I cannot imagine how this works, if it does. Guest guest
LOL Yea hang garlic around the door and it keeps the vampires away too. ACV = Apple Cider Vinegar - used in medicine this means the Raw unfiltered kind such as Bragg's organic raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar as opposed to the pasteurized stuff you find in the grocery. zoe G Simpkins wrote: Blank Have heard that a garlic barn where it is hung upside down to cure never has any bugs. I do know that the Russian infantry used to carry garlic oil as a battlefield antibiotic. ----- Original Message ----- From: zoew To: DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO Sent: Saturday, October 03, 2009 8:13 AM Subject: Re: UTI protocol Raw Garlic is one of the strongest broad- spectrum anti-biotics known to man. Guest guest
Yep...I have the latex gloves too, I bought them with the intention of wearing them for protection while out toughing grocery carts, door handles, etc. I bought two packages of them. The main reason I used the baggies while at the grocery is because I forgot them and left them home. -Biz
Guest guest
Heard a lady on a talk show who was being interviewed. She worked in a retirement home/village. She says that the most alert people there are the ones that have no teeth. She ventured the same idea that you have, mercury poisoning. She said that a lopsiced majority of those who had alzheimers also had their teeth. Suspect mercury leakage is even bigger cause than aluminum poisoning for alzheimers. Re: UTI protocol Great idea Harvey,But you gotta have teeth to eat apples. Guest guest
Of course! Thanks. We use Braggs an ounce before meals to boost stomach acid. Especially good for us since we both take magnesium tab at night before bed. The Braggs restores the proper amount of acidity. (My wife had restless leg syndrome and it is gone since she started the magnesium.) I like it too because it is good for the heart and also helps in regularity. Guest guest
Tis the simplest of measures, that give us the greatest of benefits. I am now attempting to create a real Mother of Vinegar from some of my Braggs in order to create my own ACV from Apple Cider. This may take quite some time. Never done it before so don't quite know what to expect. As remote as we are we need to find ways to DIY. zoe G Simpkins wrote: Blank Of course! Thanks. Guest guest
I expect googling on wine making would be useful for equipment and technique. Guest guest
Hi, am trying to make apple cider vinegar from my fresh apple crop this year for the first time. Found a recipe on Google, which uses wine yeast….let juice ferment for 30 days, stirring every day…..I will know by the third week in Oct. if I succeeded….or not.
