Guest guest
Hi group,I have a woman in her late 20's who is 14 weeks along with her first pregnancy. She is a single mom to be and deals with a fair amount of general anxiety. She was diagnosed with BV and chronic yeast infections which she thinks goes back three years ago when she developed nephritis post UTI. She did 12 rounds of Antibiotics without success and eventually gave up. She reads a lot on the internet which feeds her anxiety about miscarriage and pre term delivery if yeast and BV are not treated. I have talked to wise woman herbals and they say their suppositories are contraindicated during pregnancy, which is my usual approach to BV and yeast to some degree.. I wanted to start her on Boric Acid suppossitories but have seen mixed reviews whether contraindicated in pregnancy. Has anyone use boric acid during pregnancy?I recommended thuja 6c, HMF repelete, ACV internally and washes and fungisode drops. She held off on the boric acid so recommended that she pick up Borion's yeast suppositories. Wondering others recommendations and specifically for the BV. Even in a non pregnant woman this has can be stubborn to treat. She is very resistant to antibiotics and other drugs.thank you ndSeattle
