How about Similase by ITI? It says 'plant enzymes' so I assume its not from fungi since they are of different Kingdoms.

Hello,

I have a patient who has become vegetarian and wants to switch from wobenzyme to a vegetarian-source proteolytic agent. (She suffers from OA and FM-like sx's, and has found proteolytics helpful) The vegetarian ones I'm familiar with are all fungi-derived (aspergillus spp). She also has tested positive for reactivity to fungi/mold, so I'm reluctant to prescribe them. Any other suggestions?
