Guest guest
As many of you already know, I am now living in Brazil. My training schedule for the coming year will be much less aggressive than the 180 days of travel (roughly) I have been doing over the past several years. I hope to make a trip to Europe for training, one to Australia and the Pacific Rim area and two to the US in the coming year. The first trip is scheduled for January/February of 2007 to allow me to attend my favorite of the big conferences on NF, the FutureHealth Winter Brain conference in Palm Springs. We have workshops currently scheduled in Dallas (before) and in Los Altos Hills, CA (near San Francisco) following Winter Brain. I expect to hit Seattle, perhaps the Baltimore/Philadelphia area and Atlanta (family in those areas), so setting up a training in any of those areas would be easy if there is interest. Any of the other groups that have been interested in setting up workshops should contact Foxx@... to schedule. If we can get at least 6 participants per workshop, I am happy to train. Ideally 8-12 is even better, and I don't usually do more than 12, in order to keep the hands-on focus of these trainings. Professional and lay trainers are welcome to attend. Foxx can give the details to anyone who thinks they might like to set something in motion. I have been very gratified to read Dr. Sharrie's and 's posts about the TLC Assessment over the past few days. I've been around Sharrie enough to know that she is not kidding when she talks about being a skeptic, and I know has also worked with a variety of systems. That they find the TLC to be useful and accurate is great news. Both of them have taken the workshops that focus on how to read the assessment and develop training plans from it. While there are trainers who find it useful without the workshops, I think most who take them agree that they get a lot more information from the assessment after training. I'm developing a workshop on training multiple clients on the same machine at the same time, which will be available later in 2007. For now, however, the Levels 1-3 workshops, BrainPrime and the Trainers' Practicum workshops can be found at http://www.brain-trainer.com/workshops/ and there is a link on that page to the schedule for existing workshops as well for those who are interested. So for now, greetings from the south of Brazil (where it is ripening into summer). I'll continue to be active on the brain-trainer list, continue working to get the assessment manual and the workshop DVD's available, and look forward to seeing those of you who wish to attend or sponsor workshops in the coming year.
