Guest guest
Kim~ Congratulations on your new baby. I don't know anything about congenital CMV. I was exposed to it with 2 of my 4 pregnancies and was lucky enough not to have had any problems. I'm interested tho in hearing what the others have to say about it. In my opinion you posed your question to the right group. If these people don't know the answer they will surely help you find it! what a close knit and tight group we nurses are!!! Good luck and my prayers are with you and your baby. (What's the baby's name?)

I agree here! We *are* a tight-knit group! I have to admit though that this group of (mostly) nurses (we *do* have a few related areas represented here--doulas and student nurses--anyone I forgot?) is especially helpful and very tolerant of differing opinions as well. I am a member of several larger nurses groups, and it can be pretty tense at times, but it rarely gets that way here, because everyone here seems to be able to agree to disagree when the situation arises. What a great group you are! For Kim--let us know how things go! ----Jeanine
