Asthma explained by common allergy to milk and dairy products -

In all respiratory conditions, mucous-forming dairy foods, such as

milk and cheese, can exacerbate clogging of the lungs and should be

avoided, "

writes Professor Null in his Complete Encyclopedia of

Natural Healing.

Very simply, when more mucus accumulates in the lungs than can be

expelled, asthma attacks develop.

This belief has long been held in

practiced medicine, and many medical doctors still stand behind this

theory.

Dr. Christiane Northrup, a gynecologist in Yarmouth, Maine, states,

" Dairy is a tremendous mucus producer and a burden on the

respiratory, digestive and immune systems. "

Dr. Northrup says when patients " eliminate dairy products for an

extended period and eat a balanced diet, they suffer less from colds

and sinus infections. "

This is interesting. I was a total " milkaholic " as a kid. I have cut

down a lot since then but still eat quite a bit of dairy. Thanks for

posting.
