Guest guest
I saw a post somewhere about another member doing acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine... I started this therapy about a month ago with a wonderful provider here in NH... and yes... I can attest that it does work well Everyone around me has been commenting on the dramatic change in my energy and mood... but I have noticed other improvements as well... to my bowels, my digestive process, my periods, sleep, pain, etc. It's definitely worth looking into... I found mine through acufinder.com (finds licensed providers) and I prequalified them through email and phone interviews before deciding on Adam Learner. So I figured I'd post my experiences for all so that our group could see that the other member's experience was not an isolated case... Guest guest
Robin, that is so great. I had no help whatsoever with acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine myself and was so frustrated because I really wanted them both to help. I tried on 2 occassions. Maybe at this point it could help since I am better supplemented on thyroid. Not sure.. ~AnitaRobin Healey wrote: I saw a post somewhere about another member doing acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine... Guest guest
Hmmm... did you see an acupuncturist/herbalist that specializes in Hashimoto's? Also... when you say that you tried it on two occaisions... how long did you stay in active therapy for each time? And for the herbal medicine... as gross as it can taste at times... did you do it as prescribed? See I've been going for about a month now... and although I've seen improvements and others have seen improvements... the changes have been slow and one thing at a time... we haven't even begun to work on my metabolism yet... just my energy levels, my mood, my menstrual issues, etc... it's like peeling the layers of an onion... sooner or later we'll get to the core... with this type of therapy... patience is key... > > Robin, that is so great. > > I had no help whatsoever with acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine myself and was so frustrated because I really wanted them both to help.
