Guest guest
We usually use Zicam and have pretty good results when we treat our colds as soon as symptoms appear. Guest guest
I tried it once and it seemed to work. It's tricky when to take it. I think it has to be with in two or three days of the on set of a cold/flu. Try it and let us know. ann ________________________________ To: CFAlliance Sent: Thursday, January 5, 2012 8:41 PM Subject: Oscillococcinum? Hello, has anyone had good results from using Oscillococcinum for a cold? Thank you. Chloe
Guest guest
I just read about it as a flu fighter, but I'm not sure what is is. I would be interested in knowing. > > Hello, has anyone had good results from using Oscillococcinum for a cold? > Thank you. > Chloe >
Guest guest
Yes it works but it's overkill & more for flu. Leaves me feeling bad for a day as it does its job. Try Cold Calm for a cold, mild & also works. blessings, http://home.earthlink.net/~sunmoonyoga/
Guest guest
Wish I had gotten back to you sooner. I use MEGA doses of vitamin C at the first sign of a cold. You can use it " to bowel tolerance " . I go with at least a gram an hour. Dr. Myhill of the UK has this tip in her free ebook you can download from her site. > > > ** > > > > > > Hello, has anyone had good results from using Oscillococcinum for a cold? > > Thank you. > > Chloe
Guest guest
Hi all, I'd tried it. Back before I knew I had this it was pretty good to stave off becoming VERY ill when I was exposed to other people (in general; I was still working back then and I mean the 'public.') There was, however, this OTHER stuff which was just the BOMB! I could only find it in ONE store and it was made by a California company. You bought it as a pack to take just once... It was called -do not laugh please!- Buzz's Cold and Flu Cure. (Not to be confused with Buzz's Hangover Cure which I was never familiar with... sounded a bit ludicrous.) I dutifully checked all the herbs in the 'Buzz' stuff and I WISH I could find it again. Had all the right things in it, and although now I'd likely need it daily to have the same 'cure' effect if I had a cold or to lessen the flu, I have never been successful. I had gotten it back in the early '90's. Haven't seen it since. :< Jane, the one with the hound NYC > Hello, has anyone had good results from using Oscillococcinum for a >cold? > Thank you. > Chloe >
Guest guest
i've had ok results with it but it is tricky to use has to be taken at first symptoms or it doesn't really work, also found that bachs rescue remedies helps with the nervousness i get if i have to take anything over the counter for the congestion. hope u feel better soon as i know what having a cold does on top of always feeling sick in the first place, also neat trick i learned get peppermint oil and put on cotton balls and stick in pillowcase helps alleviate a little of the congestion when you try to rest. > > Yes it works but it's overkill & more for flu.
