Guest guest
Did I see a post about a connection with sleep apnea and asthma? I thought I had, but I can't find it now. I just wanted to say I was diagnosed with sleep apnea after doing a sleep study in October 2007. It only took a couple of nights to get used to the CPAP machine and now I can't get to sleep without it. The only time it ever aggravates me is when I am having a big flare up. Then I will wake up feeling like I am fighting to exhale. So, for those of you who are being assessed for sleep apnea, if you are diagnosed ask about a bi-pap machine rather than a c-pap. A c-pap uses continuous pressure and a bi-pap adjusts according to your breathing patterns. Although, like I said I rarely have any issues with the c-pap. My husband says the cpap and xanax have saved our marriage. LOL! Madeline
