Anyone gain weight from Armour?

Hello-

This list has been quiet for awhile. I wanted to ask if anyone here

has *gained* weight from taking Armour. I've been reading this book

(on & off) & interesting enough Dr. Shames wrote the Foreward. It's

not a book about thyroid disease, but has thyroid info in it.

One of the things the author says is " We know a number of women who

were diagnosed with thyroiditis who were put on animal thyroid

medication and began gaining weight very quickly. This stopped when

they were switched to Synthroid. "

Anyway, I've been stuggling with weight gain & wonder if this is

contributing to it.

Just wanted to take an informal poll.
