Guest guest
Been giving my daughter S. Boulardii for a couple of months for yeast and bacteria ( 1/2 capsule= about 200 million strain) She still seems yeasty. Or it could possibly be something else. She has horrible bad breath. I know we just talked about ammonia breath, but hers smells really bad, like something rotten...........sorry so gross. Not sure if it could be sinus, or her stomach or yeast. She's just getting over her cold sore as well. Should I add in something else?? I've just ordered the OLE. Thanks, Kathy Re: yeast > Off the top of my head: > Aquaflora > Candex (or imitators with similar enzymes) > Garlic > Nystatin (prescription but relatively safe I think) > Iflora > Saccharomyces Boulardii > Grapefruit seed extract > Oil of Oregano > SCD - specific carbohydrate diet > Lugol's iodine > >> > > > > > >
Guest guest
Cold sore!! There seems to be a coralation with breath and virus's! Back up well cause it also(has she had troubles with movements?)! OLE should help with the viral issues. As far as the yeast, I recommend garlic or Oil of oregano!! With the oregano I recommend the probiotics also that you are already doing(OoO) can kill not only the bad bacteria, but some suggest the good also, but I feel it is worth the treatment as long as you do probiotics or yogurt!! I wouldnt do the OLE and oregano together. OLE to kill viral than add oregano(OoO) for the yeast! Jennie wrote: Been giving my daughter S. Guest guest
Her movements aren't any worse than usual. About every 2-3 days with MOM. Was giving culturelle, but ran out. She does the best on that one. Waiting for the OLE shipment. What about S. Boulardii, can that be given continually? Guest guest
Hi Kathy, For what it's worth, our doc advised Kirkman's S. Boulardii for one month, 3 capsules a day. (The label recommends one capsule a day.) My son is 3 and about 34 lbs. May not be o.k. to extrapolate that to all kids - but I thought I'd offer the info. OH! I I just bought some Kombucha (fermented tea?) and it has a lactic acid probiotic and S. Boulardii.....could try adding some of that... (our doc mentioned Kombucha and cultured veggies - just for building up good flora - I was pleasantly surprised to see that this Kombucha had S. boulardii! Think it's called " GT Dave's " and was bought at Whole Paycheck (a.k.a., Whole Foods).) We have not tried it, but I've read that black walnut hull extract is also good for yeast. best, > Been giving my daughter S. Guest guest
Yeast out of control with nothing working. If you have had systemic yeast and gotten rid of it, please reply with specific product or remedy info. I have to get rid of this! Can't stand it! Thrush, fatigue, yeast, ugh! Guest guest
Incidently I have systemic yeast also. Today I was speaking with my NP and she said we should run a test to see if there is a parisite causing this. That was news to me. Maybe you may consider talking to someone about this yourself. From what she said, it is not treated with antifungal med`s. Next week I will be returning for testing. Good Luck! nne Date: Tuesday, July 19, 2011, 12:25 AM Yeast out of control with nothing working.
